Privacy Notice (UK)

Last updated: November 2026

This notice explains how we handle personal data you give us through this website, in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. It does not cover a practice’s own patients, whose data each practice handles under its own privacy notice; our role there is set out on our Data Processing & Security page. Grovique is an independent service operated by its founding team as freelancers, based in Ahmedabad, India. We are not an incorporated company and never display a placeholder company number.

Who is responsible

For enquiries made through this website, Grovique is the controller of your personal data. Contact us at hello@grovique.com.

What we collect

  • your name and your practice’s name;
  • your town, email address and (optionally) phone number, current website and Google listing;
  • anything you choose to tell us in the message field.

We also measure visits with cookieless analytics (pages viewed, approximate device type). We set no advertising cookies or trackers, store nothing on your device for analytics, and do not show a cookie banner because we do not need one.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use your details to respond to your enquiry: to prepare your free snapshot, contact you about it and answer your questions. Our lawful basis is that you asked us to take these steps before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in replying to business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)). We only contact you because you asked us to, and you can opt out at any time.

Where it is stored

Website enquiries are stored with our service providers in Australia and are accessed by our team in India. Neither country has a UK adequacy decision, so we transfer your enquiry because it is necessary to take the pre-contract steps you asked for (Article 49(1)(b)), and we keep it to the minimum needed to reply. Patient data for UK practices using our portal is handled separately: it is stored in the UK and never in Australia — see Data Processing & Security.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the providers that run our website, form and email, under agreements that require them to protect it, and where the law requires.

How long we keep it

If you do not become a customer, we delete your enquiry within 12 months of our last contact, or sooner if you ask.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict your data, to object to how we use it, and to receive a copy. Email hello@grovique.com and we will respond within one month.

We do not make automated decisions about you, and you are not obliged to give us your details — we simply cannot reply without a way to reach you.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Questions? Email hello@grovique.com. We usually reply within one business day.
