Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This policy keeps everyone safe and keeps our messaging deliverable and lawful. It forms part of our Terms of Service. The short version: only contact people who have agreed to hear from you, and only publish claims you can stand behind.

General

Don’t use Grovique to break the law, infringe others’ rights, send spam or malware, attempt to breach security, or misrepresent who you are. Don’t use it to store or send information you are not entitled to.

SMS and messaging (Spam Act 2003)

Australian law requires consent before commercial messages, that every message identifies the sender, and that recipients can opt out. Our platform is built to keep you compliant, and you must use it that way:

  • Only message people who have consented — for lead follow-up that means the patient made the enquiry; for review requests it means the patient attended your clinic.
  • Never upload purchased, scraped or non-consented lists for messaging.
  • Every message identifies your clinic and includes a working opt-out; opt-outs are honoured immediately and permanently.
  • Review requests never offer incentives, never gate by sentiment, and never reference clinical treatment.

From July 2026 the SMS Sender ID Register applies; we register your branded sender name so your messages aren’t flagged as unverified.

Advertising content (AHPRA)

As a registered practice you are the advertiser under AHPRA’s advertising guidelines. Our templates and content checker are compliant by default, but you are responsible for what you publish. Don’t add testimonials about clinical outcomes, "guaranteed results", "best/number-one" claims, or before/after imagery that breaches the guidelines. Our AHPRA Advertising Disclaimer explains this in full.

If you breach this policy

Serious or repeated breaches — especially sending non-consented messages — can lead to suspension or termination, because they put our messaging reputation and other clinics at risk. We’ll always try to warn you first where we safely can.
